Natalia began her career as a reporter and editor at her college newspaper, The Daily Texan. She found her tribe in journalism and never stopped wanting to change the world.

She went on to help build the events, advertising and sponsorship departments of The Texas Tribune before joining AARP to develop communication strategies for their local and statewide policy work.

Today, she's a writer, researcher and breaking news junkie with a soft spot for the Style section.

Her areas of expertise include writing, editing, research, interviews, analysis and strategic planning.

She graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in journalism. She is a volunteer at Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Texas and lives in Austin with her husband and imaginary goldendoodle.
